While strolling amongst the shops of Main Street in Bar Harbor, Maine last week, Bruce witnessed an intriguing exchange between husband and wife. It went something like this... "You ask him," "No, you ask him," "No, you need to ask him"

..."Are you Bruce Barry?" came the question from the man who finally gathered his courage to make an approach.

And so with this amazing encounter... Bruce met one of his biggest fans!!!

Steve and Jessica Hicks were spending the day with their beautiful family in Bar Harbor and ran into Bruce and Vivian who were on vacation in one of their favorite parts of the country. Steve confessed that he was a huge Bruce Barry fan and had been recreating his VBS sets for years. Bruce partners with Group Publishing, the well-known curriculum provider to create the how-to videos that walk viewers through the complete process of producing a full theatrical set for their VBS programs.

Bruce hopes to visit the Hicks family in Maine next summer and personally join Steve and his team of volunteers to create their 2012 VBS set!
